Fellas, who here would like to have a unique and creative wedding proposal experience???
I'm guessing those of you who put a lot of effort in researching the ring, planning when and where to propose and crafting the perfect words so she replies "I do" is saying "yes" to the question above. If so, my name is Carl Reid and 1KW Photography shoots Secret Engagement Photo Sessions!!!
1KW Photography Secret Engagement session is where we discreetly capture moments leading up to the actual proposal and most importantly her expression to when you introduce the ring.
Should I do this?
- How much time are you putting into planning the perfect proposal?
- Do you want the "How I proposed to your mother" story to last the test of time?
- Do you want to gain even more points when you proudly say "I've contributed to the wedding planning by selecting the photographer already?"
Just contact us, tell us your plans and we'll make suggestions to see how we can best capture that moment where you surprise her.
Feel free to connect with us at info@1kwphoto.com.

Here is a quick update of my schedule so far. As usual, the wifey and I still need to confirm the number of weddings that we plan to capture this year based on upcoming projects but remember you don't have to decide on your photo package today. Instead, just book us to lock it in our calendars and we'll discuss the details of your special day quickly after.
If I happen to busy on your special day let me know and I can recommend a few other Photogs for you.

What could a photographer ask for but an unplanned component that will change the outcome of a wedding party photo session like RAIN??!?
Well it wasn't totally unplanned, we did realize it was coming a few days before the wedding day. But more concerning was how we were going to satisfy Renee and Steve's request for their wedding day. Any thought of having a traditional wedding photo session was long gone when they mentioned "...we don't want to have a traditional wedding photo session."
So based on that statement, we discussed a spray painted wall or a factory backdrop as a break from "the traditional". And was excited about our early scout choices that we knew would meet their expectations on their wedding day. But we still had to consider a location just in case it rained...so we researched and researched and finally researched some more. And just like a scene from a cartoon, an idea lightbulb went off over my wife's head. Or in this case, her iphone radiating a soft white glow on her smiling face the night we were scouting for a "just in case it rains" location. And when she said it aloud, "I got it...turn this way" and when we drove up to our location we knew this was the spot.
Enter Renee + Steve and their awesome wedding party...

Our hope is that anytime Renee and Steve come back to Woodbine Shopping Centre that they would remember this amazing day at the Fantasy Fair.
